Solmatix has been operating in an industry we are - and always will be - passionate about. We have specialised in green energy since 2008!

From the beginning we existed for two very clear reasons, meeting our customer's needs and designing custom-made solar solutions.

Businesses, farmers and homeowners desire the high-quality solar PV, biomass boilers, solar water heating systems and battery solutions that we design, fabricate, supply and install.

At heart we’re an engineering company, but one which specialises in renewable energy. We apply the highest engineering standards to all our products and installations. Solmatix is built on its engineering skills, and we have recruited a team of professional engineers that all have a shared commitment to the highest standards of engineering rigour, quality service and customer care.

We believe in the value of what we do and our work in the renewable energy sector has brought real worth to our customers in the UK and Irish economies.

Senior management and safety officers are dedicated to reporting, reviewing, implementing and maintaining the safest possible working conditions.

Our operatives and management are CSCS/CSR trained, all sites carryout toolbox talks and daily briefs as standard, and are internally audited periodically. New staff undergo a company induction which focuses on our health and safety ethos and their part in it.
One thing every member of the Solmatix team has in common is a deep love and respect for our environment, it’s at the heart of everything we do! We are all concerned about the devastating effects climate change may have on our planet. Along with the problems raised by climate change we are only too aware of the fact that fossil fuels are a dwindling, finite, polluting resource that we rely on every single day and are essential in supplying us with nearly everything we need from electricity, transport and heating.
The UK and Ireland are now both net importers of oil and gas, and coal is too dirty and expensive to burn for energy these days. This leaves us with a problem, keep importing our energy sources at a cost to us both environmentally and financially or become energy independent.
