A key renewable energy project involving Solar PV has been successfully finished by Solmatix for Tobermore, a long established returning client


Manufacturers and experts in block paving, paving flags, kerbs, edging and walling products.
In 2012, Solmatix installed 49.5kW of solar panels, totalling 198 panels. In 2014, an additional 800 panels were added, resulting in an additional 200kW of capacity. Fast forward to May 2024, where 3052 panels were installed, bringing the total capacity to 1.58MW.
Our client is currently saving around £300,000 per year on electricity, with a payback time off 4 years. This installation reduces CO2 emissions by 346,494 kg annually.
Solmatix and Tobermore have a strong working relationship and continue to reach renewable energy goals due to the excellent workmanship and value we provided.
