Whether installed in your new or existing home, Solmatix solar panels
can integrate simply with your heating and plumbing system, including
both gravity feed and pressurised formats.
‘New-build’ & Gravity feed &
existing homes pressurised systems
As illustrated above, the solar network consists of a closed loop connected to
your hot water tank using an additional coil. This closed loop of solar fluid is
heated by the sun, and the captured thermal energy transferred into your hot
water tank by some form of ‘heat exchange’.
For new homes, the method of ‘heat exchange’ is normally an additional coil as
illustrated, but a spare coil may not be available in existing homes. Provided
your tank is in good condition and well insulated, Solmatix can provide
other methods of ‘heat exchange’ to integrate with your existing tank.
